Our Team.

The HyLo team brings expertise from diverse areas of inquiry, each of which is directly involved with understanding environmental change and related decision-making. The environmental context most relevant to each team member ranges across the fields of geology, mapping, climate, health, social structure, policy, physical infrastructure, and data, all of which represent agents and aspects of the forces active in climate adaptation.

Amy Clement

Professor, Atmospheric Sciences

Amy studies the causes of climate change on all timescales, from glacial periods to future climate change. She is also involved in local discussions and actions related to climate change through her role as Chair of the Parks and Public Spaces committee of Grove 2030, as a member of the Board of Directors of Miami Waterkeeper, and as a member of the City of Miami’s Sea Level Rise Committee.
